Baryshivska Grain Company LLC, a part of Grain Alliance AB will receive €10 million loan from EBRD.

As part of the company’s development Grain Alliance will increase it’s grain storage facilities and upgrade agricultural machinery fleet. Less energy consuming technology for machinery and biomass residuals fired heat generators for the grain dryers will help to continue environment friendly sustainable development of Grain Alliance.

This 7 yrs loan also shows the appreciation of us being long-term investor with sustainable focus into Ukrainian agriculture” – said Johan Damne, the chairman of the board of Grain Alliance AB

This investment will allow us to produce and dry more grains with smaller footprint. Additional storage and new dryers with heat generators will allow us to dry additional 170 thsd tones of grains during the season. Arise announces its largest project sale to date

Arise AB (publ) (”Arise”) has today entered into an agreement with funds managed by Foresight Group LLP (”Foresight”), a UK based leading independent infrastructure and private equity investment manager, for the sale of the 231 MW wind farm Skaftåsen (the ”Project”). Closing of the transaction will occur today.

At closing, Arise will receive a fixed consideration of approx. EUR 19.1 million. An additional EUR 6.4 million in variable consideration is expected to be received once construction of the Project has been completed. The sale is expected to have a positive impact on earnings of approx. SEK 210 million in total over the years 2019 to 2021, of which approx. SEK 140 million in Q4 2019.  The variable part of the consideration is dependent on how construction of the Project proceeds versus plan and budget. The transaction also includes an additional production based earn-out mechanism amounting to up to approx. EUR 4.5 million.
The transaction will be implemented through a sale of the shares in Skaftåsen Vindkraft AB (the company holding the project rights) from Arise AB to FW Skaftåsen BidCo AB, a company controlled by Foresight.
Arise will manage the construction and once operational, manage the Project on behalf of Foresight through construction and asset management agreements.
Siemens Gamesa will be supplying 35 turbines with a capacity of 6.6 MW each from its new cutting-edge 5.X platform. Construction of the Project has already begun, and commissioning is expected late 2021.

Knut Pedersen leaves as CEO of Catella

Catella AB’s (publ) President and CEO Knut Pedersen has informed the Board that he wishes to leave his role as CEO. He will continue in his current role during the notice period of a maximum of 6 months and will leave the position as CEO at the latest in conjunction with the Annual General Meeting.
Knut Pedersen has been CEO of Catella since January 1, 2014.

“During his six years as CEO, Knut Pedersen has successfully developed Catella into a pan-European finance group in real estate and alternative investments. It is my belief that Knut still have a lot to add to Catella, why my wish is that Knut will be elected to the Catella AB’s Board of Directors. Recruitment of a new CEO begins immediately with the ambition of finding a CEO who can lead the company’s continued growth journey.” says Johan Claesson, Chairman and main owner of Catella.
